Full Description

Intensive Night is the balm that finishes our evening routine. It's rich and slow-melting, made with shea and cocoa butters, jojoba, sweet almond, rosehip and avocado oils, and a touch of neem, so your skin gets a long, uninterrupted stretch of nourishment while you sleep.

By morning, your skin feels soft and comfortable and looks plumper and more rested.

The scent is a calming blend of lavender, frankincense, geranium, ylang ylang and patchouli, brightened with bergamot and lemon. Pressing it into your skin makes for a lovely few minutes of winding down before bed.

We were delighted when it was named a finalist in the Face Care (Leave On) category at the Free From Skincare Awards 2025.

It's the night balm in our Evening Ritual Set, alongside the Cleansing Oil, Facial Toner and a lip balm, in full or discovery sizes.

How to Use

Use it as the final step of your evening routine:

Cleanse with the Cleansing Oil.
Mist with the Facial Toner.
While your skin is still slightly damp, warm a small amount of balm between clean fingertips and gently press it into your face and neck.
Finish with a lip balm.

Because it contains citrus oils (bergamot and lemon), which can make skin more sensitive to sunlight, please use it in your evening routine only.

Ingredients & Benefits

Shea and cocoa butters give the balm its rich texture, with jojoba, sweet almond, rosehip and avocado oils to nourish and soften, and neem for extra richness. Glycerin draws in moisture and vitamin E helps keep the oils fresh. The essential oil blend is lavender, frankincense, bergamot, lemon, carrot seed, patchouli, ylang ylang and geranium.

Skin Type Suitability

Best for dry, normal and mature skin, or any skin that would love extra nourishment overnight.

It's richer than our other face products and contains a blend of essential oils, so if your skin is oily, prone to breakouts or sensitive to essential oils, we'd recommend a patch test first.

Sustainability

The jar

This balm comes in an amber glass jar with an aluminium lid. Amber glass helps protect the natural butters and oils from light, and glass and aluminium can both be recycled at home in most areas.

Made in small batches

We make everything in small batches and use organic ingredients wherever an organic version is available to buy. Anything left over at the end of a batch is potted into little testers, which sometimes find their way into orders as a free sample.

When it's empty

Give the jar a rinse and recycle the glass, lid and box, checking your local council's guidance first, or keep the jar to reuse.

How your order arrives

Online orders are packed in a cardboard box, stamped by hand with our own ink stamp, with shredded card to keep everything safe (we chose it over cheaper plastic fillers) and a layer of tissue paper.

Amazing night balm!

I have always suffered with excema on and off, and after my second child I started to get it bad on my face. I tried so many creams and nothing helped, it just made it worse. I spoke with Jo and I decided to get the night balm. Around 2 weeks into trying it, my face completely cleared up, and I cannot remember the last time I’ve had a flare up since. I use it most nights and the nights I don’t, my face still feels so soft. It is amazing, the texture takes a bit of getting used to as it’s a lot thicker than normal cream, but you hardly have to use anything when you apply, my 60ml pot has genuinely lasted me months and I still have half left. Amazing product, I have just ordered the foot balm and cannot wait to try it! Thanks Jo you are helping so many of us 🩷

Rich Textured Balm that does wonders!

This is such a rich and nourishing night balm which can even be used during the day if you have dry skin. The texture is so rich and it ensures to give your skin all the ingredients and nutrients it needs to keep it moisturised during the day or night. I personally love it and my dry skin drinks it up because of how nourishing it is!
