Golden Bloom Botanical Cleansing Bar

Golden Bloom is a rich but gentle cold process cleansing bar, made with dry, delicate and sensitive skin in mind. Olive, shea, coconut, cocoa butter and castor make a soft, creamy lather, with jojoba, aloe vera, local Cotswold honey, calendula and arrowroot to leave your skin feeling comfortable rather than tight.

It's lightly scented with lavender and chamomile and topped with lavender and calendula flowers. It's the one to choose if you prefer a softer scent, and it's lovely on both your face and body.

If you love a warmer, more floral scent, its sister bar Rose Bloom is made with pink clay, frankincense and geranium.

Work up a lather between wet hands or on a damp cloth, then massage gently over damp skin in small circles and rinse well. It's suitable for your face and body. Keep it away from your eyes.

Keep it on a draining soap dish so it dries fully between uses. It'll last much longer that way.

The base is olive, shea, coconut, cocoa butter and castor, turned into soap using the traditional cold process method. That's why they appear as sodium olivate, sodium shea butterate and so on in the list below. Jojoba, aloe vera, local honey, calendula and arrowroot are added for a gentle, nourishing cleanse, and each bar is topped with lavender and calendula flowers.

Made for dry, delicate and sensitive skin, and gentle enough for daily use on your face and body. It's the most lightly scented of our cleansing bars.

Calendula and chamomile both belong to the daisy family, so if you have a known allergy to that plant family, we'd recommend a patch test first.

The packaging

Each bar comes in a cotton soap ends bag with a cardboard label. When your bar gets too small to hold, pop the pieces in the bag and keep using them, so none of it goes to waste.

Local honey

Each bar is made with local Cotswold honey from a small independent beekeeper.

Making it last

Keep it on a draining dish between uses so it can dry out properly, and it'll last much longer.

We make everything in small batches and use organic ingredients wherever an organic version is available to buy.

How your order arrives

Online orders are packed in a cardboard box, stamped by hand with our own ink stamp, with shredded card to keep everything safe (we chose it over cheaper plastic fillers) and a layer of tissue paper.
